We kicked off easter this year with a great friends party at Natalie Marsh's house. She was so awesome to host. I brought Chocolate covered peeps on scewers....sugar coma. This was our best attempt at a group kids picture. My babes are on the far right.
The HBS easter party is hosted by the dean ever year and is complete with a petting zoo. It was the cutest thing to watch all of the littles run around after all of the baby animals and not so gently try to touch them. They had amazing treats and a great easter egg hunt as well.
Easter morning we took a few pics and got ready for conference which fell on easter this year. Luckily the week before I had dressed them in their easter outfits and took some pics.
Later in the week we attended a Section J seder dinner hosted by some of the jews in Beau's section. It was so fun to learn more about the jewish culture and how they celebrate during the season.
As part of Easter this year I also read sections of Jesus the Christ with some of my lady friends in Boston. Of course we all thought of Mary and Marjorie the whole time. The day after easter we met at Madisons house and discussed what we learned and thought of what we had read. It was such an enriching experience for me and one that I will never forget. Christ is the victor. He was not there at the tomb because he rose from it and that means the world to me and my faith in Him.
